Aliens to Invade Delray Beach for Sci-Fi Summer at the Crest Theatre

The Crest Theatre at Old School Square is preparing for an alien invasion this summer! WLRN Radio Theater’s Sci-Fi Summer will give sci-fi lovers, of all ages, thrills and chills, as three of the most popular science fiction stories of all time are brought to life on the Crest Theatre stage.

“Sci-Fi Summer” is presented by WLRN Radio Theater in partnership with the Crest Theatre and Arts Radio Network Theatre Project. Each event will include a post-show Talk Back session, where the audience can ask questions about the play, its history and the production.

These shows are accurate recreations of radio plays from the golden age of radio, with professional actors performing multiple roles and utilizing authentic sound effect devices. These plays are very interactive, with the audience providing many of the sound effects themselves! All shows are recorded for later broadcast on 91.3 WLRN.
