From Wednesday, October 3 – December 9, 2018, Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens (253 Barcelona Road, West Palm Beach) will host their first exhibition of the 2018-19 season.

David Kapp: Crossing the Grid will be featured in the gallery of the gardens. 

David Kapp is known for expressionistic street scenes, oil paintings that capture the dynamic spirit of the contemporary urban landscape of his native New York City. His work, both in painting and collage have been described by Ken Johnson in The New York Times as having “a dreamy, mildly hallucinatory air and a mood of Hopperesque melancholy.” His work can be found in museums and public collections throughout the United States and Europe, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas; the North Carolina Museum, Raleigh, North Carolina; and the Foundation Paribas, Paris, France.


    • *Special Programming – Sunday, November 4, 2018 – Member Appreciation Day & Conversation with the Artist, David Kapp 11 a.m.
    • Exhibition runs Wednesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Gallery and garden exhibition talks are available on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

Entrance is free for members, $15 for non-member adults, $10 for seniors (age 65 and older), $7 for students, and children under five are free.
