Binks Forest Elementary School Hosting Annual Carnival

Wellington’s largest school carnival is happening this Saturday, Nov. 10, at Binks Forest Elementary from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There’s something for everyone at this much anticipated annual event including: bounce houses, game trucks, a slime station, food trucks and stage performances throughout the afternoon. Binks’ famous silent auction baskets include Nintendo Switch, X-Box, American Girl, Florida Panthers tickets and gear and much more.  Basket details and ticket information are available at Admission is free. Wristbands for unlimited rides and activities can be purchased through Thursday for $15.

Silent auction basket tickets are available for pre-sale through Thursday:

  • One bookmark (seven tickets) for $5;
  • Two bookmarks (15 tickets) for $10,
  • One spirit stick (35 tickets) for $20
  • And a spirit Stick and sey ring (200 tickets) for $100.

The 2018 theme is Honoring the Brave to support U.S. veteransCarnival-goers are asked to bring an item to donate to the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. The VA’s wish list includes toiletries, socks, underwear, bras (SIZES 34-40, A-D), blankets and comforters, washcloths and towels, laundry detergent, denture adhesive and non-perishable food for the VA pantry.
