Bunnies and critters will be the stars at Bunfest

Rabbits are the third highest-rated pet to be turned into shelters because they are unwanted or abandoned. Organizers hope to improve that statistic by educating guests at this one-day educational, uplifting event, which is dedicated to rabbits and guinea pigs and the people who love them.

On Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m, the 7th Annual Bunfest (Kane Center, 900 SE Salerno Road, Stuart) will offer adoptable bunnies and other critters, educational seminars, activities, animal glamour photos, a silent auction, a spa exclusively for the four-legged variety, vendors and raffles.

Admission is $5 and children 10 and under are free. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast to help care for the small critters at its shelter.
