Celebrating Arbor Day in Boynton Beach

The City of Boynton Beach Recreation & Parks Department will commemorate Arbor Day on April 12 this year with the help of students from St. Joseph’s Episcopal School. A group of 8th grade students will work alongside City staff to help plant slash pines, a royal poinciana and a live oak tree around the new playground at Congress Avenue Barrier Free Park.

This will be the City’s 35th Arbor Day as part of being a Tree City USA Community. Each year, the City partners with local schools and organizations such as the Boynton Beach Garden Club to help make Boynton Beach “greener” for all to enjoy.
