The Eli Whitney Award-winning dermatologist will bring his expert knowledge and humor to the elegant affair which takes place March 12, 2018 at the Boca Raton Resort. This year’s 28th Annual Luncheon Honored Guest is noted Gastroenterologist Dr. Maria Abreu.

Her cutting-edge research focuses on inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer. She ceaselessly dedicates her life to researching the nature of digestive diseases, how they interact within the body and how genetics affects those who suffer from them. She has spoken of advancements in treatments for many of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundations free workshops offered throughout the state of Florida.

The Book of Hope Luncheon is one of the Florida chapter’s signature events with the goal of raising funds and awareness to support the chapter’s mission.
