Delray Beach’s Caffe Luna Rosa Adds Seven Craft Brews to Its Beer Menu

Hungry diners at Caffe Luna Rosa probably know that the popular beachside restaurant has delicious food and an outstanding choice of wines and mixed drinks. But now, in response to requests from customers, Caffe Luna Rosa also has a great beer selection as it recently added seven craft beers – including five that are brewed locally – to its beer menu.

“Until just a few weeks ago, we offered what I call the usual suspects that you can buy anywhere,” says Bar Manager Sean Nathan. “Now you can come to Caffe Luna Rosa and get locally brewed craft beers at a good price with outstanding food and a great beach view.”

Available with dinner and at the bar during Happy Hour as well as throughout the day, the seven craft beers now being served include two brewed down the street at SaltWater Brewery in Delray Beach, three others from Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park and one from Barrel of Monks in Boca Raton.

“We want to stay local and offer mostly craft beer made here in Florida,” Nathan adds.

Popular offerings from SaltWater Brewery include Sea Cow Milk Stout and Screamin’ Reels IPA. Funky Buddha beers available at Caffe Luna Rosa are Floridian Hefeweizen, Hop Gun IPA and Pineapple Beach. The restaurant also serves The Wizard from Barrel of Monks and Dogfish Head Flesh & Blood IPA, which is brewed out of state.

While brews such as Miller Lite, Bud Light and Peroni have been served at Caffe Luna Rosa for many years – and are still available – beers have never been listed on the menu until now, Nathan says. “With the new additions, we want to make sure our customers know that Caffe Luna Rosa offers great beers as well as outstanding wines, mixed drinks and, of course, great food and service.”
