Palm Beach Zoo is announcing the following special events and promotions for the month of December 2017: 

Feed The Lorikeets (from 10:00am-4:30pm daily)

Explore the up close and personal escapades of these dynamic birds in our BRAND NEW Lorikeet Loft (from 10:00 a.m – 4:30 p.m. daily).  Nectar pricing (not included with Zoo membership or admission) — $2 per cup or 3 cups for $5.
Monkey Mania Celebration: Saturday, December 16 at 10:30am

You’re invited to the Julie & Mike Connors Monkey Mania Celebration. The new habitat will be home to several squirrel monkeys we received on a breeding recommendation as part of a Species Survival Plan® (SSP) managed by The Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

GO BANANAS OVER OUR CELEBRATORY ACTIVITIES:

  • First 20 members receive an adorable monkey plush (one monkey per member family)
  • Scavenger hunt with chance to win 3 cool prizes: a Flamingo experience, an Anteater experience, and an annual Zoo membership.

Breakfast With Santa, now sponsored by FPL SolarNow, returns to Palm Beach Zoo this December! It’s a holiday tradition that sells out every year, so make your reservation today! Highlights include a hot breakfast buffet, up-close animal encounters, photo opportunities with Santa & Mrs. Claus – PLUS – crafts, and complimentary rides on the Wildlife Carousel.

This year’s seatings are:

  • Saturday, December 16th – 8:30am
  • Sunday, December 17th – 8:30am
  • Saturday, December 23rd – 8:30am

Fifth Annual Noon Year’s Eve Celebration: Saturday, December 31, 11:00a-1:00p

Our 5th annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration is now sponsored by #FPLSolarNow! Ring in the New Year like never before…with your furry, feathered, and scaly friends at Palm Beach Zoo! Join us for our children’s dance party in the Fountain Plaza where they can get their face painted and join us leading up to 12 noon as we celebrate the New Year with an apple juice toast and an “FPL Solar Now Sun” drop fit for children of all ages! This event is included with normal zoo admission.

Presents and PJ’s Overnight at the Zoo: Saturday, December 9-10, 2017, from 6:30PM – 8:30AM.

Curious Kids Zoo Clues: December 2, 2017: 1:00PM-3:00PM 

Do you have Curious Kids? Join us in an interactive educational experience designed for children ages 5-7! These special themed programs include up-close animal encounters, games, crafts, themed activities, and visits to animal exhibits throughout the Zoo! Cost Per Participant (Non-Members): $40 per session
*Non-member price includes admission to the Zoo for one child and one adult.

Girl Scout Badge Programs are Back! 
 

Is your Girl Scout looking to fulfill badge requirements? Then come have a wild time at the zoo, and earn a badge too! In partnership with the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida programs are available for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors & Cadettes. Badge Workshops & Journeys may include animal encounters, behind the scenes tours, guided ground tours, crafts, themed activities, and admission to the zoo. Overnight programs include up-close animal encounters, a nocturnal tour, crafts, themed activities, pizza, and a continental breakfast. All programs meet badge requirements.
