Support the Florida Youth Dance Gala

What: Florida Youth Dance Gala, featuring dancers Carlos Miguel Guerra and his wife Jennifer Kronenberg, making their first public performance since leaving Miami City Ballet, where they were both Principal Dancers.

Where: Duncan Theatre, located on the Lake Worth campus of Palm Beach State College

When: Saturday, February 8, at 7:30 p.m.

The Gala will also showcase more than 40 extraordinarily talented dancers from 11 leading dance academies including:

In addition, the finalist from the Shake the Ground Dance Competition on January 18 will perform.

Dedicated to “celebrating and gathering talented dancers” from all over the state, the Florida Youth Dance Gala will “showcase new choreography, finalists from major dance competitions and some electrifying young dancers, resulting in what may be the most memorable dance event of the coming season,” says Cañete, a former dancer with Houston Ballet, Ballet Florida and Ballet Eloelle, who has performed in England, Russia, Hong Kong, Canada, Austria, Germany, China and throughout the Far East.
