For generations, residents of the Palm Beaches have enjoyed their annual trip to the circus. Seeing the elephants, clowns, and acrobats perform; enjoying cotton candy, sno cones, and popcorn; and generally having a good time made every kid think, if only for a minute, about running away with the circus. This weekend, the Garden Brothers Circus helps bring back some of those memories, and create new ones, at the South Florida Fairgrounds.
With three performances daily inside the air conditioned expo center (July 23rd 1:30pm & 4:30pm & 7:30pm and July 24th 1:00 pm & 3:30pm & 6:00pm), guests will enjoy a wide variety of acts brought to you by a family with more than 100 years of entertainment experience. The show, which lasts for roughly an hour a half, showcases the skills of the performers from all over the globe, including a pack of trained camels, two amazing Indian elephants, an acrobatic troupe, musical clowns and the globe of doom!
Wit more than fifty people travelling with the troupe from their home base in Sarasota, the circus performs countless shows yearly in more than 200 cities! In addition to the show itself, they also offer a wide variety of activities for everyone to enjoy prior to the performance. Opening an hour before showtime, you can enjoy face painting, camel rides, elephant rides, a mini-train, bounce houses, and more!
Tickets are available online with adult tickets starting at $16.95 and children’s tickets for $8.00, but act fast as quantities are limited. They are also available at the gate, but for a slightly higher fee.
If you’re looking for a fun, family friendly way to spend a few hours this weekend, why not check out the Garden Brothers Circus. Tell them that Palm Beach Happening sent you!
