Happening People: Clinics Can Help Adds New Board Member David Stein

Clinics Can Help, a West Palm Beach-based nonprofit organization that provides durable medical equipment for Children and Adults in need, has added new member David Stein of Jupiter to its Board of Directors.

Stein is a Manager of Assurance Services at RSM US, LLP, in West Palm Beach. In this role, his responsibilities include developing an understanding of the client’s business and supervising and leading engagement teams over the entire audit process. He also prepares all necessary financial statements and related disclosures.

Stein has more than five years experience in public accounting, serving clients in RSM US’ SEC practice, commercial manufacturing, real estate and other industries.

“I wanted to get involved with an organization that strives to create a better life for others,” he said. “I believe my background would be a great addition to the organization.”

Owen O’Neill, executive director of Clinics Can Help, said his nonprofit was seeking someone with Stein’s background and expertise.

“With our recent growth and expansion, having the expertise of someone who specializes in fiscal management and responsible stewardship of our funding and revenue is invaluable,” O’Neill said. “We have an opportunity to reach more people and do good works, and David will help us make viable investments for continued growth.”

Stein is a certified public accountant who earned his M.S.A in Accounting from the University of Florida and his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.

Clinics Can Help (CCH), located at 2560 Westgate Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33409, accepts gently used and new durable medical equipment from individuals and companies and makes it available to patients who may not otherwise be able to afford such expensive equipment for their physical recovery. It is the only organization of its kind in Florida and one of only three in the U.S. that provides this critical assistance. In 2017 alone, Clinics Can Help provided over $1,000,000 worth of medical equipment and supplies to children and adults in need in Palm Beach County.
