The freshly crowned Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond oceanfront property, Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, announces the appointment of Maria Hirt as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. A seasoned professional, Hirt offers more than 20 years of hospitality experience and will oversee group and leisure sales efforts for the 309-room resort. Hirt joins the resort’s management team ahead of an exciting 2016 summer season, the first with Eau Palm Beach as a Forbes Five-Star property.
“We are delighted to have Maria on board as she brings a deep understanding of the modern Palm Beach lifestyle in addition to extensive experience in sales for luxury hotel brands,” said Michael King, managing director of Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. “Her knowledge, creative nature and personal family ties to Palm Beach will serve as valuable resources to our team and help drive continued standards of excellence.”
Most recently, Hirt served as the Director of Marketing at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Austin, Texas. A long-standing leader within the Four Seasons brand, Hirt held various Director of Marketing roles for multiple locations including: Four Seasons Resorts Lanai; Las Vegas; Palm Beach and Atlanta. With nearly two decades of experience, Hirt abides by the philosophy of incorporating a customer centric culture while continuously utilizing innovation to surpass the needs of guests.

Raised in Atlanta, Hirt holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Valdosta State University. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, stand-up paddle boarding and spending time with her husband, Brian, and their four greyhounds.
