January 2018 Special Events Announced for Palm Beach Zoo

Palm Beach Zoo is announcing the following special events and promotions for January 2018: 

Into the Wild: Challenges of Wildlife Filmmaking by Tom Fitz, Thursday – January 18, 6:00P-8:00P

You’re invited to our award-winning Conservation Leadership Lecture event sponsored by Bank of America! Explore the challenges in wildlife filmmaking as we travel into the wild with Emmy award-winning documentary cameraman, Tom Fitz. Doors open at 6 pm for this intriguing event, please enter through our admission gate. Cocktails & passed hors d’oeuvres included. Animal encounters will take place throughout the cocktail hour. Girl Scout Badge Programs are Back!

Is your Girl Scout looking to fulfill badge requirements? Then come have a wild time at the zoo, and earn a badge too! In partnership with the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida programs are available for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors & Cadettes. Badge Workshops & Journeys may include animal encounters, behind the scenes tours, guided ground tours, crafts, themed activities, and admission to the zoo. Overnight programs include up-close animal encounters, a nocturnal tour, crafts, themed activities, pizza, and a continental breakfast. All programs meet badge requirements.
