Josie’s Ristorante, a family owned and operated traditional Italian restaurant, has just announced additions to their happy hour menu. The restaurant, nestled on the southeast corner of Woolbright and Federal, next to the Intracoastal Bridge, is a small town jewel that should be added to anyone’s must try list.
Palm Beach Happening was honored to be invited to a tasting of many of the dishes on the new menu, as well as a few favorites that Chef/Owner Sebastiano Setticasi added in for good measure.
New specialty cocktails include Josie’s Kiss, a basil and blood orange martini (premium vodka, Italian blood orange liquor, basil, simple syrup, blood orange juice), and Dante’s Passion (premium citrus vodka, citrus juice, passion fruit, prosecco, and fresh summer berries). Both are $7 during happy hour. We tried both of them, and although each is unique and flavorful, we preferred Josie’s Kiss.
Their happy hour is available Monday to Friday from 2 – 6 p.m. and reverse happy hour begins at 9 p.m. Happy hour pricing is available at the bar, on the patio and at the high tops. Cocktails are half price during happy hour. Wines by the glass are $4. Bottled beer is $3 and draft beer is $2.
New to the happy hour menu is smoked local fish dip, cherry wood smoked local grouper and snapper with spicy pickled vegetable giardiniera served with Italian sea salt flat bread ($8); Chicken Parmesan ($8) and Eggplant Parmesan ($8).
Josie’s Ristorante is open Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday from 4 p.m. – 11 p.m. and Sunday from 4-10 p.m. The restaurant offers delivery, take out and catering. It is located at 1602 South Federal Highway, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. Reservations are encouraged—call 561.364.9601 or visit josiesristorante.com.
