June 2017 Special Events Announced for Palm Beach Zoo

Palm Beach Zoo is announcing the following special events and promotions for June 2017:

Safari Nights: every Friday night from June 2 to August 4, 4:30p – 9:00p

THE ZOO COMES ALIVE as Safari Nights returns for its 8th summer of evening fun every Friday night, from 4:30p-9p, June through August! MEMBERS ARE FREE!

The whole Zoo is open to explore as you join us for non-stop family entertainment at our Dinosaur/Jurassic themed Safari Nights – the kickoff of the 2017 season. Come dressed to match the nightly themes and ENTER TO WIN an AWESOME Palm Beach Zoo PRIZE PACK valued at $150!!!** Each night will feature a different family-friendly theme and will include entertainment for all ages: including face painting and kids’ DJ in the Fountain Plaza, giveaways, crafts and MUCH more! palmbeachzoo.org/safari-nights-2017

Roar & Pour: Saturday, June 10, 4:30p – 9:00p

The party starts at 4:30pm with a special $10 admission rate. Explore the Zoo, enjoy an adult beverage from the Tiki Bar including a local craft brewery tap-takeover, then as the sun sets gather at the Fountain Plaza for the 7:30pm start time for a great Aerosmith tribute band called “Jaded” playing until 9p. Food Truck Safari: Saturday, June 24, 4:30p – 9:00p

Explore the Zoo in search of your favorite wildlife and Palm Beach County’s best gourmet food trucks. Trucks (windows open at 5p) are spread throughout the Zoo with two live music locations and two cash bars. The Fountain Plaza Tiki Bar (also opens at 5p) features a local craft brewery tap-takeover. Girl Scout Badge Programs are Back!

Is your Girl Scout looking to fulfill badge requirements? Then come have a wild time at the zoo, and earn a badge too! In partnership with the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida programs are available for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors & Cadettes. Badge Workshops & Journeys may include animal encounters, behind the scenes tours, guided ground tours, crafts, themed activities, and admission to the zoo. Overnight programs include up-close animal encounters, a nocturnal tour, crafts, themed activities, pizza, and a continental breakfast. All programs meet badge requirements.
