“As a son of a son of a sailor, I went out on the sea for adventure.”

Located on a narrow stretch of land between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, the 349 room Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort redefines the beachfront lifestyle in ways that haven’t even begun to be enjoyed or appreciated. The resort is, after all, only about three months old, and still has that new hotel smell!

The lobby is  a nice place to relax after a long day in the Florida sun. It features numerous comfy couches, a full-service bar, coffee counter, and a souvenir store that rivals many of the restaurant gift shops you’ve probably seen next to your local Margaritaville. It also offers up a few photo ops, including a larger than life blown out flip flop!

“Salt for your meat, and cinnamon sweet”

The property features two restaurants that can be used by anyone; the iconic Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Restaurant and the first of it’s kind JWB Prime Steak and Seafood. On our recent trip to the resort, we enjoyed lunch at Margaritaville, and were most impressed!

They also just unveiled a new project serving guests as well as visitor’s to the historic Hollywood Broadwalk; Floridays Airstream Café! The refurbished airstream trailer, just steps from the sand, features a quick service menu with gourmet hot dogs, snacks, ice cold beverages that are inspired by Buffett’s travels.

The proximity to the Broadwalk offers up a great variety of activities as well, including surrey bikes, lounging by the beach, and tons of other waterfront adventures. If you’re staying on property, the concierge desk can offer helpful tips on how to spend your Floridays!

“and the rum is for all your good vices!”

Located across the street from the resort is a dockside restaurant that truly embodies the spirit of the Venice of the Americas. The 5’o clock somewhere bar and grill serves up bar bites, drinks and live entertainment daily, with breathtaking sunsets as an added bonus. A waterfront beach, with a cozy fire pit, and host daily sunset rituals. The 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill also features a Water Taxi stop and serves as the launch pad for paddle boarding and kayak excursions.

They also feature two restaurants that are exclusive for hotel guests; the LandShark Bar & Grill, located at the ground level poolside and only steps from the beach, and the License to Chill Bar, located on their 11th floor pool/ocean overlook.
