“Both Gareth Johnson and Tao Lin are well-known among South Florida classical music audiences,” says Music at St. Paul’s director Dr. Paul Cienniwa. “Why are they well-known? Because they are both highly accomplished musicians! In fact, their reputations extend far beyond the South Florida audiences, from Gareth Johnson being a two-time winner of the Sphinx Competition to Tao Lin’s extensive discography. We are very fortunate to have them among us and, of course, playing at St. Paul’s.”

Cienniwa continues, “One of the unique things about this program will be Johnson’s use of the electric violin. Music at St. Paul’s is known as an acoustic, classical series, but it will be a breath of fresh air to hear one of our acoustic, classical soloists jam to some Gnarls Barkley soul!”
