As part of West Palm Beach’s Summer in Paradise program, Northwood Village will create twice the fun with an expanded Art Night Out Summer Festival. The two-day festival will take place on Northwood Road in the city’s art-centric neighborhood on Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. both nights. The monthly event will also be amped up with more arts and craft vendors, entertainment by local bands, tasty food vendors and public art that guests can be a part of.
Patrons at Northwood Village’s Art Night Out Summer Festival can enjoy a variety of local art and craft vendors from all over South Florida, shopping at the unique boutiques and galleries open late, live street-side artists and musicians, and more. Art Night Out will also enhance the usual event offerings with special features for the Summer Festival including live music by some of the area’s most popular bands plus a DJ spinning tunes, a bevy of delicious food vendors and a giant paint-by-numbers mural, all located at the corner of Northwood Road and Broadway.
Craig McInnis, one of Northwood Village’s Lot 23 artists in residence, will create a unique, paint-by-numbers mural that the public can help paint. The outline will be sketched by McInnis and materials will be on hand so that guests can tap into their inner Picasso and be a part of one of the famed neighborhood outdoor murals.
Residents and visitors looking for something out of the ordinary can experience inspired evenings in Northwood Village during the Art Night Out Summer Festival. West Palm Beach’s hub for art and culture will delight and entertain guests with impressive restaurants and food offerings, distinctive shopping, live music, and an array of art in a laid-back and hip atmosphere.
