April 2-8, 2017, is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, a time for all Americans to learn about victimization, reflect on the cost of crime to our society, and promote laws, policies and programs to help victims of crime rebuild their lives. This year’s National Crime Victims’ Rights Week theme – Strength. Resilience. Justice. – reflects this vision of the future, one in which all victims are strengthened by the response they receive, organizations are resilient in response to challenges, and communities are able to seek collective justice and healing.
