Palm Beach Day Academy’s Walter H. Butler Golf & Tennis Classic on November 4th at The Breakers

Palm Beach Day Academy is putting a new spin on a time-honored tradition. The school’s annual golf tournament is adding a tennis component. The Walter H. Butler Golf & Tennis Classic will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at The Breakers Palm Beach. Anand Patel and Steve Smith will be this year’s golf chairs with Jennifer Anttila, Tara Gronberg and Missy Savage as the inaugural tennis chairs.

The morning begins with breakfast at 7:15 a.m. for golfers and 8 a.m. for tennis players. Guests will also have the opportunity to begin bidding on an array of silent auction items. Players will tee off for golf at 8 a.m. and tennis begins at 9 a.m.  All participants will finish the day together with a luncheon, award ceremony and the culmination of the silent auction.

“We are excited to add tennis to our long-standing golf tournament,” said Dr. Gordon. “The Walter H. Butler Golf & Tennis Classic will be the start of a new tradition for our school. This family-friendly tournament will be a day of fun for our PBDA families, alumni, faculty and friends. We hope to see everyone, including our surrounding communities, on the course and court on November 4th.”
