Palm Beach Outlets to host several upcoming events

The season is in full swing at Palm Beach Outlets with several special events planned to entertain guests who also can take advantage of ongoing discounts at more than 100 stores.

The latest events to be announced are the Wine and Cheese Fest benefiting Little Smiles, the Phantom 5K Monster Mile and Devil Dash benefiting Quantum House along with a Costume Contest and Treats and Yes! Palm Beaches Shop for Success benefiting Dress for Success. Details follow on these and all of the events planned for September and October (in chronological order). All events are being held at Palm Beach Outlets, 1751 Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, West Palm Beach.
What: Labor Day Weekend Sidewalk Sale
When: From 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Sept. 2-5
Where: Participating stores at Palm Beach Outlets
Description: Participating stores will offer discounts and specials beyond their already reduced prices.
 
fenyr silver redWhat: Cars & Coffee, a monthly gathering of South Florida’s finest automobiles presented by Art of Speed Auto Events, LLC. The event attracts auto enthusiasts from south and central Florida who come to viewa massive diversity of exotic, custom and classic vehicles. All makes and models are welcome to attend this free family-friendly event. Cost is $2 per vehicle to display in the show field and free to spectators. Hot coffee and breakfast items will be available for purchase.
When: From 9 a.m. to noon, Sun., Sept. 4
Where: In the northwest and north lot ofPalm Beach Outlets
Description: Fans of “The Fast and the Furious,” a series of action films, will be given the rare opportunity to see one of seven Lykan HyperSport vehicles ever produced by W Motors at this month’s event. Lykan’s “vicious cousin,” a prototype of the Fenyr Supersport, may come along for the ride, too. The Lykan HyperSport boasts 770 horsepower and can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 240 mph. The Fenyr Supersport possesses 900 horsepower, climbs from zero to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 249 mph and is priced at approximately $1.85 million.
What: Wine and Cheese Fest benefiting Little Smiles, a volunteer driven, non-profit children’s charity whose mission is to help heal hearts and create little smiles by providing gifts and fun activities to children impacted by serious illness, homelessness or tragedy.
When: From 6 to 9 p.m., Fri., Sept. 30.
Where: Center Court at Palm Beach Outlets
Description: Live music will be playing while patrons enjoy wine from regions of Italy along with a number of different cheese samples. Tickets are $15/per person and all of the proceeds benefit Little Smiles. To purchase tickets, log onto LittleSmiles.org/events. Then bring a printed copy of the receipt to the event. A complimentary wine glass and cheese plate will be provided.
What: Yes! Palm Beaches Shop for Success, a three-day pop-up store, plus a one-night exclusive VIP shopping party. Thousands of Palm Beach County’s most fashionable women will be coming together to shop for a cause.
When: Sept. 30-Oct. 2
Where: Palm Beach Outlets
Description: A VIP invite-only shopping partykicks off the three-day shopping event, which will feature designer deals up to 70 percent off and fashion finds in women’s clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories. One hundred percent of sales and donationsgo directly to benefit the career development and employment retention programs of Dress for Success Palm Beaches. Dress for Success’ mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Last year’s sale raised more than $12,000 for the organization.
What: Inaugural Phantom 5K, Monster Mile and Devil Dash benefiting Quantum House along with a Costume Contest and Treats
When: Sat., Oct. 29 – Registration opens at 6 a.m. Phantom 5K – 7:30 a.m., Monster Mile – 8:45 a.m., Kids Devil Dash – 9 a.m., Awards Ceremony – 9 a.m., Costume Contest – 9:30a.m. Stores open at 10 a.m.
Where: Palm Beach Outlets
Description: In addition to the Phantom 5K, Monster Mile and Devil Dash, kids can take part in a costume contest and mall-wide trick-or-treating with participating stores. Proceeds benefit Quantum House, a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition.
