Palm Beach Zoo Save the Panther 5K enjoys ‘wild turnout’

Over 500 people braved the cold weather and kicked up their heels in support of  Florida’s state mammal, which suffered 42 deaths in 2016; most related to collisions with automobiles.

Bryan Kelly *set a new course record for the men at 16 minutes 26 second, the previous record was 16 min and 39 seconds – GO BRYAN!

Net proceeds from the 5K help fun the zoo’s partnership with the Florida Wildlife Corridor: an organization working to protect Florida Panthers and their dwindling habitat.
