The dog days of summer are behind us. Get ready to break out the doggie sweater vests on Saturday, December 1st , 2018 and join Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale from 3 pm – 6 pm for the 13th Annual Riverwalk Mutts and Martinis™. This doggone annual event has a new location this year at America’s Backyard, located in the heart of the Downtown Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District.

Good boys and good girls of all shapes, sizes, and breeds are invited and they can bring their well-behaved humans too! Four-legged fur friends can expect the famous doggie fashion show, a peanut butter eating contest and more. Pet-themed vendors and a silent auction with exciting treats will line the event. Humans will also enjoy their own treats in the form of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while they jive to entertainment. Each ticket for admission includes two drink tickets and bites provided by America’s Backyard. Feel free to extend your evening past 6 pm and stick around America’s Backyard for your own impromptu after pawty.

Be sure to stop by and see our local rescue groups including 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida, Humane Society of Broward County, Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida, Luv-a-Bull All Breed Rescue and Milo’s Dog Rescue of South Florida. Some of the rescues will have many doggos looking for their furever homes (they’ll have small mutts too). Even if you can’t add to your family right now, stop by for some cuddles and kisses. We double dog dare you. You won’t regret it.

This rain or shine event welcomes well-behaved pups and is family friendly. Tickets are available for purchase online for $25 for adults and $10 for kids 10 and under. A portion of the proceeds of the event will be donated to local pet rescues. Admission for pets is FREE.
