From October 2-4, the  Broward Convention Center will be transformed into a magical world inhabited by witches, wizards, walkers, stormtroopers, Goonies, Whovians and Trekkies, as Wizard World, Inc.  continues its 2015 schedule with its first trip to the at Wizard World Comic Con Fort Lauderdale, October 2-4. Norman Reedus (“The Walking Dead,” Boondock Saints), William Shatner (“Star Trek,” “Boston Legal”), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings, The Goonies), Burn Gorman (“Torchwood,” “Game of Thrones”), Dennis Rodman (former NBA player), Eve Myles (“Doctor Who,” “Torchwood”) and Dean Cain (God’s Not Dead, “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”), headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza.

Reedus, Astin and Gorman will appear on Saturday and Sunday, Oct 3-4; Shatner will appear Friday evening and Saturday, Oct. 2-3; Rodman will attend on Saturday; Cain and Myles are scheduled for all three days.

Other stars appearing include Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters, “Oz”), Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk,” “The King of Queens”), James Marsters (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Caprica”) and Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” “My Morphing Life”), Jon Bernthal (“The Walking Dead, The Wolf of Wall Street) and the Boondock Saints duo of Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco

Wizard World is also the home of the most creative comics artists and writers on the planet. Artist Alley at Comic Con Fort Lauderdale will feature Neal Adams (“Batman,” “X-Men,”), Billy Martin (“TMNT New Animated Adventures”) Julian Totino Tedesco (“X-Treme X-Men,” “Venom”), Claudio Aboy (“Heavy Metal,” “Marilyn”), Ethan Van Sciver (“Justice League,” “Green Lantern”), Arthur Suydam (“Marvel Zombies,” “Army of Darkness”), Russel Lissau (“The Batman Strikes,” “Old Wounds”), Brad Guigar (“Evil Inc.,” “Phables”) and many others.

In addition, all full-price Wizard World Comic Con Fort Lauderdale attendees will receive a limited edition exclusive variant cover “The Walking Dead” comic, drawn by one of Wizard World’s talented artist guests (to be announced). Comics will be issued at registration while supplies last and VIP attendees will receive an additional black & white sketch version.

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. The 22nd of 26 events currently scheduled on the 2015 U.S. Wizard World calendar, Fort Lauderdale show hours are Friday, October 2, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, October 3, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday, October 4, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Wizard World Comic Con Fort Lauderdale is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday night.
