South Florida Fair offers special days and ways to save

Ride-a-thon, 5 to 10 p.m., Thurs., Jan. 11 – Admission and rides only (buildings and attractions open Fri., Jan. 12). $15 per person with coupon that can be downloaded from the fair’s website, Regular price is $20. Offer valid during Ride-a-thon only. Some rides excluded.

Attend the fairs opening ceremony, 11:30 a.m. Fri., Jan. 12, for free admission – Those who attend the fair’s opening ceremony in the Expo West building will be admitted free but guests should plan to arrive early, as seating is limited.

Get a free admission ticket by attending opening day, Fri., Jan. 12, and using an advance admission ticket – Guests may use their advance admission ticket on opening day of the fair and receive one free admission ticket to return another day, Jan. 13-28, compliments of Publix.

$2 Fat Tuesdays, Jan. 16 and 23 – Admission, rides and food bites will be $2 all day. Some rides excluded.

Goodwill BOGO Days, Wed., Jan. 17, and Wed., Jan. 24. – Buy one regular price adult gate admission and the second person will get in free. Must be used at time of purchase. Coupon is available at Palm Beach County Goodwill stores or online at Cannot be combined with any other offer.

“Bike Nite” Parades, Wed., Jan. 17 and Wed., Jan. 24 – Arrive at 6 p.m. and pay only $5 admission per person to participate in the fair’s bike parade. Guest must ride on a motorcycle to receive admission special. General seating for the concerts these nights is free (Atlanta Rhythm Section concert on Jan. 17 and Grand Funk Railroad on Jan. 24).

Senior Discount Days – Mon., Jan. 22, is Special Senior Day and admission for those 60 and older is just $5 ($4 off the regular senior gate admission). Also, admission every Wednesday and Thursday of the fair (Jan. 17, 18, 24 and 25), seniors get in for $7 $2 off the regular senior gate admission. ID required.

American Heroes Day, Thurs., Jan. 25 – All active military, veterans, firefighters, law enforcement personnel and their families will be admitted for just $7 by going to the main expo entrance of the fair or the entrance at Yesteryear Village to get admission coupon and then presenting it at any ticket window. To receive special ride discounts, visit the BioTest Pharmaceuticals booth inside Expo West. Valid proof of service with photo I.D. required. Eligible person must be present.
