Sugar Sand Park Community Center’s 5th annual Back-to-School Splash event is the perfect way to slide into the new school year and wave goodbye to summer. On Saturday, August 13 from 10am-1pm kids can enjoy water slides, a field of bubbles, make & takes, water games, giveaways, music and more at this free outdoor event.
Suitable for ages 3 and up, kids get unlimited access to three different large water slides- from 18 to 24 feet high, plus a slide specifically for children under age 5, and a separate toddler area. Food and frozen treats will also be available for purchase.
“Back to School Splash is a super way to connect with our community, provide a free family fun day, and introduce our fantastic fall season of classes, workshops, events, Explorium exhibits and Willow Theatre shows. This year we’ll also have spray bottle art and a make your own pencil topper.” states Stacee Lanz, Special Events Coordinator.
This event is sponsored by South Florida Parenting Magazine and Habitat for Humanity ReStore (South Palm Beach County).
This event is recommended for kids ages 3 – 12 and is weather permitting. Guests should remember sunscreen, water, towels, hats, and a change of dry clothes.
