Summary of Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics Special Meeting Held on April 16, 2018

The Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics (COE) took the following actions at its special meeting held on April 16, 2018.

C17-038:  After considering the investigative report, probable cause recommendation, and the negotiated settlement agreement wherein the respondent admitted to violating Section 2-433(a) and Section 2-443(c) of the Palm Beach County Code of Ethics, the COE found probable cause existed and issued a letter of instruction finding the violation was unintentional or inadvertent and dismissed the complaint.

C17-039:  After considering the investigative report, probable cause recommendation, and the negotiated settlement agreement wherein the respondent admitted to Count 2: Violation of Section 2-443(c) of the Code of Ethics, the COE issued a letter of reprimand and a fine of $500. Count 1: Violation of Section 2-443(a) was dismissed.
