It has begun! Each year at about this time, the entire culinary world is seemingly transfixed on the flavor of America’s favorite orange gourd; the pumpkin!

Chef Zelicious has joined this trend, as she brings us her take on the Pumpkin Pie Smoothie!

1 ½ Cup unsweetened almond milk
½ Cup organic pumpkin puree
4 Dates-pitted
1 Tablespoon grated peeled fresh ginger
½ Organic coconut milk
1 Tablespoon organic almond butter-optional
1 Frozen organic banana
½ Cup ice
½ Teaspoon organic cinnamon powder
¼ Teaspoon organic nutmeg powder
½ Teaspoon organic pumpkin spice powder
Add all ingredients to the pitcher of a blender. Puree at medium speed until smooth, then increase speed to high and blend until creamy.
