#TastyTuesday – Caffe Luna Rosa in Delray Beach Adds Alaskan Halibut Filet to Daily Dinner Menu

Caffe Luna Rosa, Delray Beach’s award-winning beachside restaurant, today announced a new dish for the new year. A scrumptious Alaskan Halibut Filet entree has just been added to the dinner menu.

Pan-seared and herb-basted, the 8 oz. filet is served over a bed of cannellini beans and organic escarole and is topped with Meyer lemon-infused olive oil and garnish.

“This is a good healthy and well-balanced meal,” says Caffe Luna Rosa Executive Chef Ernesto DeBlasi. “It’s is a dish that’s hearty but not too filling,”

A mild-flavored fish, cut into thick filets, the halibut is packed in ice and flown in overnight daily to maintain its freshness.

DeBlasi says the halibut filet was well-received as an occasional weekend special at Caffe Luna Rosa which led to the decision to add it to the daily dinner menu.

The chef says the restaurant will continue of offer popular weekend specials such as squid-ink pappardelle which is made on site.
