TooJay’s, the restaurant known for its generous servings of homemade New York deli favorites, offers a classic menu for Rosh Hashanah and a customary selection of break-fast platters and specialties for Yom Kippur.

Available for in-restaurant or at-home dining, Rosh Hashanah menu items include TooJay’s baked cod with potato stuffing, grilled London broil, lean and tender brisket and herb roasted chicken. All in-restaurant entrees come with a glass of kosher wine, made-from-scratch matzo ball soup, gefilte fish or chopped liver, carrot tsimmes, mini potato pancakes, coffee or tea and a holiday dessert.

For the traditional Yom Kippur break-fast, TooJay’s platters of sliced Nova, smoked whitefish, baked salmon, whitefish salad, bagels and accompaniments may be ordered in the quantity desired. Blintzes and other holiday favorites from TooJay’s kitchen also are on the Yom Kippur menu.

Rosh Hashanah 5778 begins Wednesday evening, September 20 and Yom Kippur begins Friday evening, September 29. Reservations are required for dining at TooJay’s during Rosh Hashanah and multiple seatings are offered. Round challahs, raisin challahs, almond cake, honey cake and sponge cake along with a sweet selection of rugalach and mini black and white cookies are available at TooJay’s delectable bakery.
