Another typical summer day for us in south Florida. Highs in the upper 80s with a few showers and storms moving across the area during the afternoon. This trend will continue into the day Thursday.
Winds increase Friday and into the weekend. Maria will be about 500-600 miles off of our coast and that will increase our winds and waves. Expect NE winds around 20-25 mph, along with a higher risk of rip currents and small craft advisories. It will be partly cloudy with a few showers and storms possible during the afternoon, with highs in the upper 80s again. Not a bad weekend at all, just maybe not the best conditions to head to the beach or out on the boat.
Next week, temperatures will warm close to 90, with morning lows in the 70s for most, a the possibility of a few afternoon storms.
