Weekend deal for South Florida Fair fans

For three days only–Nov. 3, 4 and 5–everyone who purchases an advance wristband for the 2018 South Florida Fair will receive a free Gold Access Pass, which enables guests to move to the front of the ride lines. In addition, those who purchase a Mega Saver will receive two Gold Access passes (each pass valued up to $20). The promotion is online only at www.southfloridafair.com.

Patrons who purchase a Gold Access Pass receive a VIP lanyard and special wristband to access Gold Access privileges. Advance admission tickets also will be available for purchase during this promotion.

Next year’s fair will take place from Jan. 12-28 at the fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach. The theme is “Magical Parades,” which was determined after fair organizers received so much positive feedback regarding the Mardi Gras-themed parades as part of its 2017 New Orleans theme.

Each day during the 17-day run of the fair, a famous parade from around the world will be featured. The floats will include upbeat music, colorful costumes and authentically decorated Mardi Gras floats, which also will be on display in the “Magical Parades” exhibition. The fair also will showcase displays from other notable parades.

The fair will continue its tradition of hosting an award-winning agriculture and livestock program featuring more than 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 Florida counties, world-class ice skating performances daily, four stages of music and entertainment, a historic Yesteryear Village, and over 200 rides, games and attractions. The best in fried foods and other tasty, exotic treats also will continue to be a main draw for many fairgoers. More details will be unveiled as the fair draws closer.
