The City of West Palm Beach Department of Parks and Recreation offers Adult Line Dance classes at Gaines Park, 1501 N. Australian Avenue.
If you haven’t tried it, line dancing may surprise you with all it can offer. It’s fun, good exercise and a great form of dance all on its own. But line dancing can also be a way to improve your dance skills that can apply to any form of couples dancing. Line dancing will help you to improve your balance, help you find your beat, teach you basic footwork, improve your confidence on the dance floor and provide you with a dance outlet whether you have a partner or not.
So come to Gaines Park to mingle with friends while learning line dance steps to light jazz and old school R & B. Fees are only $6 for residents at the door. The class meets on Friday nights from 6 – 9 p.m. and is instructed by Dennis Mobley.
